The city of San Diego is a very ecologically diverse city, but unfortunately that wonderful trait is at stake because of invasive plants that continue to spread. Through our research, we found that a major plant to target is Arundo donax, a cane native to the Mediterranean. Throughout the year we scratched plans, altered, and finalized a handheld device that targets the arundo plant, and arundo only.
