Due to this pandemic, thousands of restaurants have been forced to be closed in the last year. Due to the closures, they have been losing staff, money, and customers. Most restaurants are still struggling to survive and don’t expect their position to improve quickly. I noticed many companies without an online presence or delivery/online ordering was not successful. In order to help these restaurants, there are many things we can do. After my research into what is causing the restaurants to fail, I decided to launch a marketing campaign for these companies mainly through developing social media platforms for the businesses to be more accessible with technology. My design thinking product is being able to spread awareness of this situation faster and by getting the restaurants more active with technology.
